Scope of Works
Continued success for the Towergate Partnership saw them outgrow their existing Kent premises over a fairly short term. The Chairmen acquired a plot of land and commissioned a purpose built 4 story office within a new Kent location. The client's requirement for the whole site was to achieve a high Breeam rating, so every element of the building, site facilities and infrastructure had to approved for its efficiency.
This office is the flagship HQ for the Towergate Partnership, the brief was a for stunning interior that was practical, easily manageable, flexible and more importantly, not 'flashy'. Crisp designed floors to give the appearance of a five star hotel, where rich veneers, textured carved glass walls, polished plaster and feature lighting all appear in abundance, along with bespoke joinery items all helping provide a quiet, professional first class feel. Our teams liaised with all the departments throughout the project duration making sure every element of the design and move were addressed in full.
The overall timeline for this project was just over a year, being appointed at the initial stages before build had commenced, allowed us the opportunity to make a personal stamp on the interior for the client. During the build element, it was agreed that Crisp could enter the building during the construction stage and begin 'first fix' on backbone items such as electrics and air conditioning. This progressed to a stage where the builders handed the building to us on a floor by floor basis, helping reduce double handling and more importantly, a reduction to the completion deadline our client had to meet.
